Discover a more personal and expressive side of glass art with our Portrait Glass Painting Workshop in Melbourne.
Create a luminous, hand-painted glass artwork inspired by a face, memory, symbolic figure or meaningful muse.
In this immersive workshop, you'll create your own portrait-inspired artwork on glass, guided by an experienced artist in the warm and creative atmosphere of Camdal Atelier's Thornbury studio.
Your artwork can be inspired by a person, a symbolic feminine figure or even a mythological subject such as Shahmaran.
You'll explore storytelling through colour, line, composition and light, learning how to paint directly onto glass using vibrant pigments and specialised glass painting techniques.
Throughout the process, you'll receive guidance to help you bring expression, mood and character into your artwork while developing a piece that feels uniquely yours.
Once complete, your artwork will be professionally kiln-fired, permanently transforming your painting into a finished fused glass artwork.
This is a calm and immersive creative experience where traditional glass craftsmanship meets personal storytelling.
